This has been a year. After almost two years of planning, working and hand wringing, we finally moved into our new old house. And even though literally anywhere I look in the house, I can still see something that needs doing, we love being here. Love it. But what with the gazillion projects we’ve tackled (or avoided), the finally getting around to taking road trips again, reconnecting with friends and just generally living our overbooked lives, we forgot to mark Blue Kitchen’s tenth anniversary last month.
Ten years. The number surprises even us. As we take a little holiday break here from the kitchen, it seems appropriate to look back at the first holiday post I wrote here when the blog was less than two months old. It spoke of our family Christmas Eve tradition, one we’ll be enjoying again this year. We wish you happy holidays and a wonderful new year.
Congratulations, Terry! You remind me that I, too, am celebrating my 10th blogging year. Wow. I’m eternally grateful to you for your unflagging support and encouragement, especially as you pushed me oh so gently to follow you into the blogosphere just one month later.
Smiling to think of you and Marion in your fabulous new old home, toasting in the new year together. May 2017 bring many lovely things your way. Happy holidays to all!
Very happy for you both!
Congratulations, thanks, and happy holidays!
Thanks, all! Happy holidays. And Ronnie Ann, thank you for all your support and encouragement over our shared 10 years.
Congratulations! I still make your linguine with clam sauce all the time. Thank you for your wonderful blog!
